About Delancey

Hi! I'm Delancey - thank you so much for popping by my store! I've dreamed of writing books for people to read since I was a little girl, and the fact that this is my job now is still pretty mind-boggling!

A little about me... I grew up in California and was a ballet dancer for the first 18 years of my life. I headed off for college and gained perspective right along with about 15 pounds! And that was where I really dove into writing.

That said, it took another twenty years for me to publish my first book (in 2013!) I've been traditionally published, but really love the interaction and direct feedback I get from managing every aspect of book production from the writing to the covers, so here we are!

I write from Denver where I live with my USMC vet hubby and two teenaged sons and our faithful hound, Charlie Taco. (He's an English Chocolate Lab... and is... well, as one groomer told me: "He's a lot!")
